California Cafe
King of Prussia, Pennsylvania
The stylish, upscale restaurant located in a large urban shopping center offers a welcome oasis from standard mall fare. Whimsical metal sculpted palm trees on the storefront exterior allude to the delights of "California" dining. Once inside, the true feast is for the eyes. Serpentine soffits and organic shapes hanging from the ceiling are painted hues of Wedgewood blue, a rich burgundy, and jade green. Wall sculptures and framed artwork compliment the finish colors and materials. Custom designed, contemporary light fixtures feature formed metal wall sconces and a series of metal and wood cone shaped bases topped with a spun copper sphere light fixture. Cherry and maple woods used for seating and millwork accentuate the café's warm ambiance.
